1. Terms of use
1.1 Who we are
This website is operated by PT. Konsultan Investasi Asia (“KIA Consulting”, “we”, “us”), Wisma Nusa Permai Blok B.10, Nusa Dua, Bali 80361, Indonesia. Email: info@kiaconsulting.co.id. By using the website you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1.2 Information, not advice
Articles, guides and other content on this site are general information. They are not legal, tax or immigration advice for your situation. Indonesian rules change often, so please contact us before acting on anything you read here. A client relationship starts only when we agree the scope of work with you in writing.
1.3 Visa calculator
The visa calculator gives an estimate based on the rules we know at the date shown on its page. The final decision on any stay, extension or fine always rests with the Directorate General of Immigration of the Republic of Indonesia. Check your dates with us or with immigration before you travel.
1.4 Intellectual property
Texts, design, logos and images on this site belong to KIA Consulting or are used with permission. You may link to our pages and quote short passages with a link to the source. Copying content for commercial use requires our written permission.
1.5 Links and messengers
The site links to services of other companies, such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and Google Maps. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for their content.
1.6 Fair use
Please do not try to disrupt the site, get around its security or collect its content automatically at a rate that harms its operation.
1.7 Liability
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it “as is”. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses caused by relying on general information on the site or by the site being temporarily unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or any rights you have as a consumer.
1.8 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes are settled by the competent courts of Indonesia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
2. Privacy policy
2.1 Data controller
PT. Konsultan Investasi Asia, Wisma Nusa Permai Blok B.10, Nusa Dua, Bali 80361, Indonesia, is responsible for your personal data. For any privacy question or request, write to info@kiaconsulting.co.id.
2.2 What we collect
- When you contact us by WhatsApp, email or phone: your name, contact details, the content of your messages and any documents you send us (for example passport or company documents needed for a visa or company application).
- When you visit the site: our hosting provider keeps technical server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) to keep the site running and secure.
- Analytics, only with your consent: Google Analytics 4 records which pages are visited, the type of device and approximate location. It does not store your full IP address.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
2.3 Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and provide the services you request: performance of a contract or steps before a contract.
- To file applications and keep records required by Indonesian law (immigration, company registration, tax): legal obligation.
- To keep the site secure: our legitimate interest.
- To measure how the site is used: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
We process data in line with Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022), and, where they apply to you, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation and US state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA.
2.4 Who receives it
- Indonesian government bodies, such as immigration, the OSS/BKPM system and the tax office, when this is needed for the application you asked us to make.
- Service providers that work for us: website hosting, email, and Google (analytics, only with consent).
- WhatsApp (Meta) processes your messages when you choose to write to us there.
- Authorities, courts or advisers where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
2.5 Transfers abroad
Some providers, such as Google and Meta, may process data outside Indonesia and outside your country. Where required, such transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
2.6 How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: up to 2 years after our last contact.
- Client files: for as long as Indonesian law requires (for accounting and tax records, generally 10 years).
- Analytics data: no longer than 14 months.
- Server logs: for the limited period set by our hosting provider.
2.7 Your rights
You may ask us to give you access to your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or send it to you in a portable format. You may withdraw consent at any time, which does not affect processing that already took place. Under the CCPA/CPRA you may also ask what we collect and ask us to delete it; we do not sell or share personal data for advertising. Write to info@kiaconsulting.co.id. We reply within the time limits set by the applicable law and may ask you to confirm your identity first. You may also complain to a data protection authority, in Indonesia or in your country.
2.8 Security
The site works only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to client documents is limited to the staff who work on your case.
2.9 Children
The site is intended for adults. Data about children, for example for a family KITAS, is provided by their parents or guardians and used only for that application.
3. Cookie policy
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. We use as few as possible. Optional cookies are set only after you allow them in the cookie banner.

We do not use advertising or marketing cookies. WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and Google Maps may set their own cookies only when you follow a link to them.
Changing your choice
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the button below or the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. If you switch Analytics off, we delete the Google Analytics cookies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Analytics stays off unless you switch it on yourself.
